The Department of Agriculture is recruiting the eligible candidates for the following posts on contractual basis under different schemes as mentioned below
Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA):
1. Block Technology Managers (BTMs) - 180 posts
2. Subject Matter Specialists (SMSs)-451- posts
AP Water Sector Improvement Project ( APWSIP) :
3.Senior Extension Co-coordinator (Agriculture)-1 post
4.Agriculture Specialists - 5 posts
5. Project Programme Promoters -130 posts
National Food Security Mission (NFSM):
6. District Consultants ( Rice) - 11 posts
7. District Consultants ( Pulses)-14 posts
Education Qualification:
1.Block Technology Manager (BTM):Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture/Allied Sectors with (2) years field experience and computer knowledge.
2.Subject Matter Specialist(SMS):Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture/Allied Sectors like Horticulture /Agri-Economics /Agri-Marketing/Veterinary Science / Fisheries.
3.Senior Extension Coordinator/(Agriculture):Post graduate in Agriculture Extension with a minimum of 10 years experience
4.Agriculture Specialist/(Agriculture) : Graduate / Post Graduate in agronomy or in Agriculture extension
5.Project Programme Promoters/(Agriculture): Graduate / Post graduate / diploma holder in agriculture.
6&7 District Consultants(Rice/Pulses) :Basic degree in Agriculture. Masters in any agricultural science is preferable.Minimum 10 years field level experience in laying out demonstration plots, seed supply, positioning of inputs etc.

For contractual posts under APSWIP, the candidates may apply to the Chairman, Project Coordination Unit- APWSIP, O/o Commissioner and Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Opp. L. B. Stadium, Hyderabad on or before 23-12-2011, 5.00 PM.
For contractual posts ( both Rice and Pulses) under NFSM, the candidates may apply to the Commissioner and Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Opp. L. B. Stadium, Hyderabad on or before 23-12-2011, 5.00 PM.
