RECRUITMENT OF POST GRADUATE TEACHERS FOR JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYAS
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, invites ON-LINE applications through the link available on NVS Website, from eligible Indian nationals for filling up of vacancies and drawing a panel of candidates for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers from Gen./OBC/SC/ST Categories on DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in various districts of the country.
Last date for submission of ON-LINE applications is 13th January 2012.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4800
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 40 YEARS (As on 30.11.2011)(Age relaxation applicable as per rules)
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the respective subjects.
(b) B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
(c) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English languages.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Experience of working as TGT in a recognized institution in the concerned subject.
(b) Experience of working in a residential school.
(c) Knowledge of Computer application.
