Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board has given notification for the recruitment of constable vacancies in different departments. Eligible candidates have to apply through prescribed application format. The following are the details about age limit, educational qualifications, no of vacancies & other information regarding AP Police recruitment.

Age Limit: For  Job Code NO.21 to 25 ,27 and 28

                  (i)For those who worked as Home Guards for not less than 360 days or those who are working as Home Guards-Must have attained the age of 18 Years and must not have attained  30 years of age as on 1-July-2011.

                  (ii) For others –must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22Years as on 1-July-2011.

                   For Job Code no.26

                   (i)Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 Years as on 1-July-2011.

Educational qualifications: Must have completed intermediate or equivalent as recognized by  the state government as on 1-July-2011. SC/ST candidates must have passed SSC or it’s equalent and must have studied Intermediate I and II Years.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to download application form from the website www.apstatepolice.org. Candidates have to submit the filled application form along with Photocopies of relevant documents on any working day from 14-11-2011 to 28-12-2011 at the respective district police Offices and at Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada Police Commissionrates. The Candidates of Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad  must submit applications  at Hyderabad Commissionerate,Gatchibouly and Ghoshamahal Police stadium,Hyderabad respectively between 14-11-2011 to28-12-2011.
 Selection procedure: candidates are selected on the basis of preliminary selection test, Physical Efficiency test, written test & Interview

Fees:Rs25/- at the time of submition of application.

Note: Candidates should submit applications themselves at the respective offices and submition of application by post or other party is not accepted.
